APF Arizona Fastpitch Showcase
July 19-21, 2010 – Victory Lane Sports Park, Glendale, AZ
 Last year’s event featured more than 50 high school-aged players working out and playing in front of college fastpitch coaches representing all levels of play from around the Southwest. The event, which is open to any current and rising high school softball player, includes a full combine workout and the opportunity to play four games in front of the college coaches – as well as an opening night seminar in which college coaches, professional players and strength and conditioning experts speak. Participants receive a free t-shirt, lunch each day, a player profile in the program book given to the college coaches and autograph/photo opportunities with the pros.
The event, held in conjunction with Arizona ASA, will be held at Victory Lane Sports Park, 22603 North 43rd Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85310
Showcase details
- Open to any current or rising high school softball player
- $200 if you sign up by February 15, 2010, $250 after that
- All attendees participate in skills testing during a combine observed by college coaches
- Participants play in a minimum of four games in front of college scouts
- Everyone receives a t-shirt
- Each participant’s player profile published in a program book handed out to all coaches in attendance
- Price includes a seminar the evening of July 21 featuring professional players, college coaches and strength/conditioning experts
- Seminar includes a question and answers session and autograph/photo opportunities
- Last year’s seminar included coaches of nationally ranked college programs, 2008 NCAA Player of the Year Angela Tincher and 2007 WCWS MOP Taryne Mowatt
